The Story

Secure It "e" Box Security
Keeping your documents safe is one of our primary concerns. While we can't divulge every security measure that we have in place, we can share with you some of the more common methods that you would expect from a document management application service provider (ASP).

128-bit Encryption
Secure It "e" Box uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology with 128-bit encryption. This powerful technology protects your data from being seen by unwanted eyes.

Firewalling Technology
All Secure It "e" Box servers are placed behind powerful firewall technology configured to provide minimum access and maximum protection. In addition, powerful port scanning tools are in place to make sure that these measures are always operating at maximum efficiency.

Advanced Logging
Our advanced logging system monitors and records every action taken within Secure It "e" Box. This system not only allows our users to see how they are benefiting from Secure It "e" Box, but it also helps us quickly identify when would-be hackers are trying to subvert security measures. In addition to denying access to the potential offender, Secure It "e" Box security personnel are notified and an investigation begins immediately.

Physical Security
Physical security is also a priority. Being housed at Time Warner colocation facilities, Secure It "e" Box servers are well protected at all times. 24 hour video surveillance, secured equipment cabinets, climate control, fire suppression, and diesel generator backup systems mean that Secure It "e" Box servers will not only be safe, but will remain in operation, even under the worst conditions.

Staff Accountability
Secure It "e" Box personnel can, at no time, see your data. There are times when our support staff will need to log into a user's account as that user in order to help them with a problem. When this is neccessary, Secure It "e" Box personnel will login through a special tool that will allow them limited access to client data. This means that while Secure It "e" Box support is able to navigate a client's storage space, they are never allowed to actually view the client's documents. Likewise, Secure It "e" Box personnel will never need to know a client's password. It is also important to note that these events are logged and reported to the client so they are aware of each time Secure It "e" Box personnel entered their storage space. We feel that this increases the trust level of our clients and makes for a much more secure environment.

Summary
As you can see, we are serious about security. Providing a secure storage system is a must and we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to do just that. If you would like further information about our security procedures, please feel free to contact our Security Team directly.
